The Nature Center was one of the first buildings The Rock Foundation established.  This shelter house type structure is 24x40 with an enclosed 16x24 section for indoor work.  The total cost for the project was $4500 dollars including a $2000 contribution from the Moundbuilders Kiwanis organization.  This area has become one of the most popular merit badge activity areas at summer camp in recent years, also thanks to the guidance of Carol Slone.
